Crisis grips GOP as more Republicans urge Trump to quit


Many lawmakers and former GOP rivals say they can no longer support the party’s presidential nominee.
The fallout from the 2005 video of Donald Trump bragging in vulgar terms about groping women now threatens to endanger the GOP’s hold on both chambers of Congress.
Despite outside pressure, the nominee said he had “tremendous support” and vowed to “never withdraw” from the race.
