From THE WASHINGTON POST: Clinton wanted to ‘power through’ with pneumonia, setting off problems

The Democratic nominee’s decision to not widely disclose her illness and ignore her doctor’s advice to get rest set in motion perhaps the most damaging cascade of events for her in the general-election campaign — giving fresh ammunition to Republican nominee Donald Trump before their first debate.
Spokeswoman Hope Hicks provided no documentation but said the gifts included donations from the Donald J. Trump Foundation, which a months-long Post investigation showed has been funded almost entirely with other people’s money in recent years.
The GOP nominee sought to keep the focus squarely on Hillary Clinton's comment that half of his supporters are a "basket of deplorables." He was interrupted repeatedly by protesters and, at one point, a man pushed and grabbed male protesters during a verbal exchange.
The defending NFC East champions entered Monday's season opener determined to prove that last year's success was no fluke — that Washington hadn’t simply stumbled its way to the top of a division that imploded around it. Instead, they fell short. Kirk Cousins was intercepted twice as the Redskins' running game and defense faltered.
COLUMN | Washington's players say offensive balance is important. They wear shirts that read “Hogs 2.0,” as if changing their wardrobe can alter their reality. And then when they finally took the field Monday night, the T-shirts went away and their true pinballing personality came out.
